Halloween Costume Contest

I know this is a bit late, but you should have known it was coming! Its time for the 2005 CampusBlender Halloween Contest! It's the usual drill: whore yourself up in a costume, take a picture of it, and send it to Partyincollege@gmail.com Take pictures of your friends' costumes as well and submit them also. There are no requirements, just email your picture and a brief description of your costume, your username, and if you'd like your name associated with the picture or just be anonymous. Prizes are too be determined.

I'll give you up until Nov. 5th for submissions, then I'll post the worthy ones in a thread in The Party.

JMU WINS NATIONAL CHAMPINSHIP

James Madison came into Friday's I-AA title game without the most heralded QB. That went to Montana's Craig Ochs -- a Colorado transfer. But Justin Rascati had the running game behind him and led the Dukes to the championship, 31-21.

The Dukes (13-2) were the first team to reach the title game by winning all three playoff games on the road as they advanced past the second round for the first time.

The two-time champion Grizzlies (12-3), playing in their fifth title game, took a 21-17 lead in the third quarter, but couldn't stop James Madison's rushing attack.

Trailing by four points, James Madison responded with a 72-yard drive _ all on the ground. Fenner capped the drive by pounding in for a score from the 1, putting the Dukes ahead for good.

Rascati scored on a 6-yard run one play after getting hit in the head, a play that resulted in a roughing the passer penalty on Montana's Kerry Mullan and gave James Madison a first down.

The Grizzlies had a chance to rally, but James Madison's Clint Kent intercepted Craig Ochs' pass with 6:17 remaining and Montana was unable to move the ball the rest of the game.

James Madison's fans threw yellow streamers and some even jumped down from the stands onto the field to celebrate with the team as the final seconds ticked off the clock. All stayed on the field during a short fireworks show while security officials took down the goal posts.

The Bikini Girl Will Walk Again
